Interview

Hi Lisa Dawn Wadler. It's great to have you on for an interview and to share "The Draig's Wife". This is the third book in your Draig series and books one and two have both garnered 5 Stars and Top Pick status. Congratulations. Please tell us about this third book.

A modern woman who needs to decide if she is willing to marry a 15th century laird to save the clan. The laird doesn't present himself to the world as lovable, but we know he's waiting for the right woman.

At what point did you know you wanted to publish a book?

Roughly six years ago when the inspiration for my first book, The Draig's Woman, came to life during a martial arts class. I wanted to see strong, capable women save the laird, rather than cringing and waiting for help. All of my heroines to date have a martial arts background.

If your home a place of order or chaos?

That depends on the day.

What genres do you write in and what inspired you to write in these genres?

I am currently published in Time Travel Historical Romance. There is also a contemporary romance tucked into a flash drive. My sister refers to it as "my messed up / crazy story" - she means that as high praise.

What is our favorite drink?

Vodka martini

What is your writing place like?

It's my home office. The walls are alive with orange paint and real work for my day job is just to my right that I am ignoring at the moment.

What's next for you as an author?

Continuing the Draig Clan series. The Draig's Choice (#4) is in process, as is the mental outline of book five, The First Draig. Plus, there is that pesky contemporary one that I may self-publish rather than have to shorten.

Thanks for coming on and chatting with us.

Thank you for taking a few minutes to meet me. Many thanks to NOR for the opportunity to present my books to their community.

If you're tired of waiting for a man to save the heroine, try one of my books. I promise there is always a happy ending.
